The ingredients drop down the outer columns on each side of the board but you can use the middle of the board to make special candies and combos to get the ingredients down the columns. The candy canes make the task a bit harder as you are not able to make matches across the candy cane fences. This can be confusing if you don't look carefully at where the canes are when you are trying to match candies. Stripe/wrap combos or double stripe combos should be made near the bottom of the board to clear the candies from below the ingredients. Colourbombs also work well, especially if you can switch them with another special candy.
